About Us
We offer tailor-made maintenance solutions for General Aviation professionals and enthusiasts. Our certified mechanics perform annual inspections, general maintenance, and repairs — on your schedule, at your hangar.
We’re based at Monroe County Airport in Madisonville, Tennessee, and we bring the shop to the aircraft. Less repositioning, less downtime, and a mechanic who knows your airplane and its quirks. Veteran owned and operated, with over 30 years of combined experience.
What We Do
Inspections, maintenance, and repairs for General Aviation aircraft — done at your hangar whenever the job allows.

A full annual, signed off by an IA. We document everything we find and walk you through it before we fix a thing.
Flying for hire or instructing? We’ll keep you on cycle so you stay legal and in the air.
Squawks, component swaps, troubleshooting, and the routine upkeep that keeps an airframe healthy between annuals.
We bring the tools to your hangar or tiedown, so you’re not ferrying a sick airplane somewhere just to get it looked at.
We’ll dig through the ADs, verify compliance, and keep the records clean — so there’s no scramble at your next annual or when you go to sell.

Training & Credentials
The A&P and the IA are the starting point, not the finish line. We keep going back for factory and type-specific training on the engines and airframes we actually put our hands on. Here’s the most recent.

Forty hours of Level 1 factory training taught by Continental Aerospace Technologies, covering the 200, 300, 400 and 500 series — the engines hanging on most of the airplanes we see.
When the factory tells you how they want their engine treated, you listen. It shows up in how we troubleshoot, what we don’t guess at, and how we write it up.

Run by the American Bonanza Society and the ABS Air Safety Foundation in Chandler, Arizona — Beechcraft airframes taught by the people who know their known problem areas best.
If you own a Bonanza, a Baron or a Travel Air, that’s the kind of training you want behind the signature in your logbook.
Every mechanic on this team is enrolled in the FAA’s Aviation Maintenance Technician continuing education program through FAASafety.gov. On top of the training it takes to keep an Inspection Authorization current, each of us puts in 10 to 20 hours of continuing education a year through the FAA’s own courses.
Regs get revised, service bulletins come out, airplanes keep getting older. Staying current isn’t a box we check at renewal time — it’s part of the job.

I began my career in 2008, enlisting in the Air Force as an MC-130H Combat Talon II crew chief. After my active-duty tour I returned to Oklahoma and attended Spartan College of Aeronautics in Tulsa, earning my Airframe & Powerplant certificate in 2016. I then relocated to Tennessee, transferring to the Tennessee Air National Guard, and began my A&P career at Endeavor Air, a Delta regional carrier, where I spent four years maintaining CRJ 200/700/900s before going full time with the Guard in 2020. I now serve as a Dedicated Crew Chief on the KC-135R Stratotanker. I earned my Inspection Authorization in 2023, and since December 2021 I have applied that background to general aviation — co-founding C&J Aviation with my partner, Cale, to bring the same discipline and standards from military maintenance to private aircraft owners.

My time as an aircraft mechanic started back in 2020 when I joined the Tennessee Air National Guard to be a Crew Chief on the KC-135R Stratotanker. While I was working part-time for the ANG, I attended Middle Tennessee State University where I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Maintenance Management in 2024, my Airframe & Powerplant in 2025, and my Private Pilot’s License in 2023. After I finished college, I took an opportunity with the Guard starting in 2025 where I have been fortunate enough to work on my favorite airplane, the KC-135R, for almost two full years now in a full-time capacity. I also began my time in General Aviation working for both Joel and Cale starting in February of 2025 where I hold the same standards and practices that we hold in military aviation.
